Uniaxial Plastic Geogrid Introduction
Plastic uniaxial geogrid is manufactured from plastic materials which may be high-density polypropylene or high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resins by the hot extruding process to make the resins into thin plates, the plates are punched into the regular holes for the formation of desired grids, and then the punching patterns are stretched longitudinally into the desired meshes to develop designed tensile strength.

Uniaxial Plastic Geogrid Installation
When used for reinforcing soil retaining wall, the construction shal lbe issued as follows:
1.Set up the foundation and carry out the construction according to the designed wall system.When the precast reinforced concrete panel is selected, it is generally supported On the precast concrete foundation with a thickness of 12-15cm. Its width shall not be greater than 30cm, its thickness shall not be less than 20cm, and its burial depth shall not be less than 60 cm to prevent the influence of foundation frost heave.
2.Level off the wall foundation, dig and level up according to the design requirements. Soft soil to be compacted or replaced, compacted to the required density, should be Slightly beyond the range of the wall;
3.Tendon laid, the direction of the main strength of the tendon should be perpendicular to The wall,fixed with pins;
4.For wall filling, the mechanical filling should be used. The distance between wheels and Steel bars should be at least 15 cm.
When used for reinforced earth retaining wall, the construction method is as follows:
1. The foundation shall be set and the construction shall be carried out according to the designed wall system. 4. For wall filling, mechanical filling shall be adopted, and the distance between wheel and reinforcement shall be kept at least 15 cm. After compaction, the thickness of one layer of soil is about 20-15cm.
5. During the wall construction, the wall should be wrapped with geotextile to prevent the leakage of filling.
